Storm Éowyn Update: Teucheen Wood Closure

IDT staff and volunteers conducted a walk-through of Teucheen Wood earlier today to assess it’s condition following the impact of Storm Éowyn. Thankfully everyone is safe following the storm and we did not observe damage to neighbouring properties during this walk.

However, there are several major obstructions within the woodland interior, with large trees having fallen across the path network. For the safety of all woodland users, we have made the decision to temporarily close the woodland. Entrances and pathways have been cordoned off, and we kindly ask that residents respect these closures while we work to restore safe access.
