The Inchinnan Development Trust are in the process of applying for a ‘Community Asset Transfer’ of the India Tyres Playing Fields to enable community management.
The playing fields are a valuable local greenspace and provide a wealth of opportunity for the community of Inchinnan. We hope that in securing the playing fields we can develop a diverse, well-maintained and accessible space that will encourage greater community engagement and use. Our current proposals are focussed on creating opportunity for sports, well-being, education, recreation as well as employment and volunteering.
We want to ensure that residents are heard and that the playing fields are managed in accordance with the needs and wants of the local community. As such, we have created a brand new survey which details some of our proposals and gives you a chance to voice your opinion.
