Community-led preservation and enhancement of Inchinnan's woodlands and greenspaces.
Our work across Inchinnan.
Through a growing number of local projects, Inchinnan Development Trust is helping to reconnect people with nature and restore the natural spaces that support our community members and wildlife population.

India Tyres Playing Fields
After securing Teucheen Wood, our community set its sights on other local green assets. The Trust acquired the historic India Tyres Playing Fields through a Community Asset Transfer and are in the process of regenerating the site into a shared, accessible greenspace for all.

Wellbeing & Learning in Nature
Our green assets have become hubs for wellbeing and learning. With free activity sessions and collaboration with local educators, the Trust provides people of all ages with opportunities to connect with nature, learn new skills, and enjoy the benefits of time spent outdoors.

Nature & Habitat Connectivity
Inchinnan’s environment has been greatly impacted by changing land use, resulting in the loss and fragmentation of valuable habitats. The Trust is working to reverse this by strengthening local ecosystems and creating a more resilient environment for both wildlife and community.
