Wellbeing Walk & Talk
Taking it one step at a time..
It's proven that connecting with people and spending time outdoors can have massive benefits for your physical and mental wellbeing. Inchinnan Development Trust (in collaboration with CRISIS Counselling and funded by Engage Renfrewshire) will be holding fortnightly sessions that will explore these benefits, giving you a chance to engage with nature and have a chat with others in a safe and friendly environment.
Our group is open to everyone and anyone and will take you on a short, gentle walk through our local Teucheen Wood, giving you an opportunity to connect, share and unwind - all while getting your daily dose of nature! There’s no set discussion points or agenda, just a chance to take in the sights/sounds of the woodland and have a chat with others as you go.
Sessions meet at 11am every second Saturday, by the Greenock Road entrance to Teucheen Wood - for more info on how to get there click here.
So wether you’re a wildlife enthusiast or just fancy some time amongst the trees and a good chat - feel free to pop along and join us!

Getting here..
The main entrance to the woodland is signposted and located at:
Teucheen Wood
Old Greenock Road (A83)
Inchinnan, Renfrewshire
PA4 9NH
There is no formal parking for the woodland but there are ample bus links in the surrounding area, the nearest bus stops are located at: Inchinnan Bus Depot and Inchinnan Village (Old Greenock Road).
The main pathway stretches from the entrance at Old Greenock Road towards the heart of the woodland and out via the main entrance (for further guidance, please refer to our path map). While the pathway is well-used, terrain can be uneven and quite muddy, so please take care and ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear for your walk.
