Community-led preservation and enhancement of Inchinnan's woodlands and greenspaces.
A space at the heart of Inchinnan.
Inchinnan Playing Fields is the most central greenspace within our village, located in the heart of the community and neighbouring our nursery, primary school, social club, and parish church.
The playing fields are currently home to a range of activities, including regular football fixtures and school sports events. In 2024, the Trust began the process of a Community Asset Transfer of the site through the formal submission of an Expression of Interest and we will continue to explore community ownership and future investment as part of our wider programme of work.

The project builds on early consultation carried out across the village, where residents highlighted the importance of retaining the fields as a shared asset that provides meaningful benefit to our community. The next step for the Trust is to undertake more detailed engagement around the site to better understand the aspirations of residents and local groups - developing a shared vision for its future. Our aim is to ensure the fields continue to serve the whole community, offering space for recreation, sport, local events, and community gatherings for years to come.
