A big thank you to everyone who shared their ideas on our map - both digitally and in-person! The survey is now closed but you can still view the map to see all the comments that were added: padlet.com/inchinnan/placeplan
We've been busy reviewing the feedback to identify key themes that will help shape the next stage of the place plan process and we'll be continuing the conversation at our upcoming in-person events:
November 4th - Local Place Plan Drop-In at Inchinnan Community Association & Social Club (7:00pm)
Feel free to pop by, we’ll be happy to chat, answer any questions, and share more about the Local Place Plan.
November 8th - Scouts Coffee Morning & Community Conversations
We'll be hosting another drop-in at the 1st Inchinnan Scouts Coffee Morning (from 11:00am) with information on the Local Place Plan process and a look at the insights from our map survey.
We will then be holding two community conversations at Inchinnan Community Association & Social Club in the afternoon and evening. These are friendly, informal sessions where you can share your ideas, listen to others, or just come along to see what’s happening:
November 8th - Getting Around the Village & Protecting Our Greenspaces (3:00 - 4:30pm)
We’ll be chatting about how we can protect and enhance Inchinnan’s natural landscape and greenspaces, as well as how we can make it easier for everyone to get around the village - whether on foot, by bike, or on wheels.
November 8th - The Future of Housing & Facilities in Inchinnan (including underused sites & buildings) (6:00 - 7:30pm )
This session will focus on how Inchinnan’s homes, community spaces, and facilities can better meet local needs. We’ll look at ideas for improving existing places, creating new facilities/amenities, and encouraging development that fits our community’s ambitions.
Your input into these conversations will help shape Inchinnan’s Local Place Plan. Whether you have lots of ideas or just want to listen and see what others think - it would be great to have you there!
