Path Creation at Teucheen Wood

Our initial works in our community woodland (Teucheen Wood) are focused on improving woodland accessibility and safety for the general public. Path works by Cubed Interior Projects are now underway to create a new access path stretching from Greenock Road to the southern access point of Teucheen Wood. The path will be the main pedestrian entrance to the woodland and will have signage and information boards added in the future.

The path will be composed of a Type 1 stone aggregate base, a layer of geotex for weed control, a whindust (dust gravel) surface and will have kerbstone flanking each side. New stock fencing will be erected on the farmland adjacent side of the path.

We want to make Teucheen Wood as accessible and welcoming as possible for all members of the local community. Improving access provision is an essential part of this and we will keep you updated with our progress!

Documents and location plans giving further information on the details of the pathway and fencing can be found below, with thanks to Glasgow Architectural Design.
