Teucheen’s Snowdrop Bloom - A Sure Sign of Spring!

Teucheen Wood’s snowdrops have flowered - a sure sign that winter is on its way out and warmer days are afoot!

Despite their dainty appearance snowdrops are hardy plants and are easily able to withstand the frosty temperatures that come with winter. This is in-part due to the ‘anti-freeze’ proteins in their cells which prevent ice crystals from forming, protecting them from frost damage.
