Inchinnan Development Trust and Cllr. Iain Nicolson were delighted to be invited along to Scottish Parliament for Community Land Scotland’s Parliamentary Reception hosted by Kaukab Stewart MSP.
The evening celebrated the achievements of urban landowners with groups exhibiting their work across various themes: addressing the climate and biodiversity crises, bringing new futures to historic buildings, making changes through arts-based community centres, and delivering community-led neighbourhood regeneration.
IDT were selected to represent the theme of biodiversity and climate, highlighting the connection between community landownership and the fight against environmental degradation. We were proud to showcase how Inchinnan is taking action to preserve our community's natural heritage and local green assets.
