Volunteers Start Work on Creating a Wildflower Verge at Teucheen Wood
Following work to plant up a hedgerow along Teucheen Wood’s entrance path in February, volunteers have now started on the creation of a wildflower verge. Over the past few weekends, they have been hard at work doing the necessary ground preparation to sow a native mix of wildflower seeds and grasses. Once established, the verge will provide a vibrant habitat and vital food source for local insects (in particular, pollinators like bees and butterflies), birds, and small mammal

A month of crafting with nature!
Our nature-inspired crafting sessions came to a close at the end of March after a fantastic month of crafting with nature! From wildflower seed bombs to willow wreaths and candle making, each session was a celebration of creativity, nature and sustainability Big thank you to everyone who joined us and took part - your enthusiasm really made the sessions something special! Nature Craft & Create Sessions
Join us for a March filled with nature-inspired arts and crafts! We’re hosting seven free crafting sessions across next month, taking place in the historic India of Inchinnan building, as part of Renfrewshire Council’s Winter Connections programme. Please RSVP. IDT at Community Land Scotland’s Parliamentary Reception
Inchinnan Development Trust and Cllr. Iain Nicolson were delighted to be invited along to Scottish Parliament for Community Land Scotland’s Parliamentary Reception hosted by Kaukab Stewart MSP.
